Occupational therapy (OT) gives children skills for participating in all aspects of life — play, self-care, household tasks, & community participation. Pediatric OTs complete comprehensive evaluations and create customized treatment plans to help children & their families develop new skills or modify their environment in order to live fulfilling & satisfying lives. Pediatric OTs & OTAs utilize therapeutic activities that are meaningful to a child in order to promote physical, cognitive, social, and sensory processing skills.

• Difficulties with completing self-care or basic household tasks (getting dressed, tying shoes, brushing teeth, cleaning room)
• Picky eating habits, limited diet, or other feeding difficulties
• Delays in fine motor or gross motor coordination impacting anything from handwriting, bicycling, catching a ball, or buttoning a shirt
• Immature social skills or difficulty making friends
• Poor problem-solving, attention, memory, organization, or learning skills
• Challenges with emotions, coping with frustration, or recognizing body signals
• Excessively seeking or avoiding certain sensory experiences

In addition to occupational therapy, we also offer parent consultations, handwriting assessments, feeding evaluations, and daycare/school observations.

Our other services include social skills groups, life skills groups, preschool play groups, game nights, and toddler development groups.

We hope to add speech therapy and physical therapy to our list of services in the near future!

Grow is a participating, in-network provider with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, and a participating non-network provider with Tricare. We are out-of-network with other insurance companies and can provide families with a “super-bill” to file for reimbursement for out-of-network expenses.
